5.      St. Joan of Arc request to hold 39th Annual Spring Festival May 16-18, 2008 and to close several streets.  Motion by McFadyen, seconded by Walby.  Approved 7-0

6.   Request for approval for 24 hour operation at 31075 Harper for E-Z Fitness, petitioner Brian Kirma.  Motion by Frederick, seconded by Moffitt. Approved 6-1 Nays - McFadyen

7.   Bids/Contracts/Purchase Orders – Award of bid for gasoline and diesel fuels

Motion by Moffitt, seconded by McFadyen. Approved 7-0

8.  Consent Agenda Motion by Ahearn, seconded by Walby.  Approved 7-0

d.   Request from MDOT for adoption of resolution of Support of the Harper Avenue Streetscape

9.  City Manager’s Report – Request to approve emergency purchase order for a heating and cooling unit in the Lobby and Pro-Shop at the Civic Arena.  Motion by McFadyen, seconded by Frederick.  Approved 7-0

11. Request to enter Closed Session as permitted by State Statute MCLA 15.268 Sections 8(c)     Motion by Walby, seconded by McFadyen, to enter Closed Session at 9:10 p.m.  Approved 7-0

      Motion by McFadyen, seconded by Ahearn, to return to Open Session at 9:30 p.m.  Approved 7–0

12. Adjournment Motion by Moffitt, seconded by Ahearn, to adjourn the meeting at 9:31 p.m.  Approved 7-0
