Motion by Frederick, seconded by McFadyen to have a letter of support drafted regarding asking the legislature to mandate the 2% fees. Ayes: All - 7

4. Comments by Individual Councilpersons

5. Bids/Contracts/Purchase Orders

a. Award waste collection contract bids opened 5/30/08

Motion by Ahearn, seconded by Frederick to award contract to Waste Management for 5 years. Approved 6-1 Nay, Walby.

6. Request to transfer in ownership of Class C – SDM Liquor License with Sunday sales and dance permit for 23195 Marter Road, Ste. 100, petitioner G G Yung Enterprise. Motion by McFadyen, seconded by Frederick. Approved 7 – 0.

7. Request from Pepperbottom Beats & Eats for transfer of one partner ownership for class c licensed business with Dance Permit and Sunday sales at 24301 Harper. Motion by Moffitt, seconded by McFadyen. Approved 7 – 0.

8. Consent Agenda - Motion by Moffitt, seconded by Frederick. Approved 7 – 0.

Motion by McFadyen, seconded by Rubello to return to Open Session at 9:28 p.m. Approved 7– 0.

12. Adjournment. Motion by Ahearn, seconded by Moffitt to adjourn at 9:55 p.m. Approved 7 – 0.
