5.      Request from AMVET’s to hold annual Walkathon for Scholarship on September 29, 2007 from 12 – 5:00 pm Motion by McFadyen, seconded by Frederick,  Approved 7 - 0.

6.      Request for Special Event approval of the 2007 Annual Labor Day Walk on September 2, 2007 starting at 9 am, route Ford Estate to Veterans Memorial Park Motion by McFadyen , seconded by Frederick, Approved 7 - 0.

7.      Request from Student Mentor Partners organization to be recognized by the City as a non-profit organization to obtain a Charitable Gaming License Motion by Ahearn, seconded by Walby, Approved 7 - 0.

8.      Public Hearing on the adoption of a resolution creating a Corridor Improvement Authority within the City of St. Clair Shores and designating the boundaries of the development area

9.      Bids/Contracts/Purchase Orders – Purchase of Police vehicles Motion by Ahearn, seconded by Moffitt, Approved 6 – 1, Nay Stahl.

10.  Request to appoint Voting Delegate to Michigan Municipal League fall conference Motion by Moffitt, seconded by Frederick, Approved 7 - 0.

11.  Consent Agenda Motion by Ahearn, seconded by Frederick, Approved 7 - 0.

Motion by McFadyen, seconded by Stahl, to enter Closed Session at 10:14 p.m.  Approved 7 - 0.

Motion by Frederick, seconded by McFadyen, to return to Open Session at 10:38 p.m. Approved 7 - 0.

      Meeting was adjourned by Mayor Hison at 11:06 p.m.
