5.                  Request from St. Germaine’s Parish to hold annual Family Fun Festival September 15-17, 2006  Motion by McFadyen, seconded by Frederick.  Approved 7-0

6.                  Request to hold Lac Ste Claire Fine Art Fair at Veterans Memorial Park September 16 -17, 2006  Motion by McFadyen, seconded by Frederick.  Approved 7-0

7.                  Request from Cash Connection to hold Grand Opening Event with radio station give-away, on September 23, 2006 from 11am  – 1 pm at Lakeshore Plaza  Motion by McFadyen, seconded by Frederick.  Approved 7-0

8.                  Request to amend City Ordinance 40.242 Section 17j-2 Regarding Designation Of Fire Lane In The Alley East Of Harper Behind Businesses Located At 24912 And 24916 Harper (The Alleyway On The East Side Of Harper That Extends North Of Lange To 10 Mile Road), By Repealing This Designation, Petitioner D. Hartemayer (From 8/7/06)  Motion by Walby, seconded by McFadyen.  Approved 7-0

       a. Request to purchase Police vehicles  Motion by McFadyen, seconded by Ahearn.                     Approved 6-1, nay Stahl

            b. Request to purchase Golf Course equipment and replacement golf carts  Motion by                     McFadyen, seconded by Ahearn.  Approved 7-0

            c. Request to award Master Plan contract  Motion by McFadyen, seconded by                              Frederick.  Approved 7-0

            d. Request to award Harper Avenue Streetscape Design contract Motion by Walby,

10.              Recommendation from the Election Commission to permanently relocate several voting locations to comply with the Federal Americans with Disabilities Act  Motion by  McFadyen, seconded by Frederick.   Approved 7-0

14.              Request to Enter Closed Session as permitted by State Statute MCLA 15.268 8(c) and 8(e) R. Semon V St. Clair Shores  Motion by McFadyen, seconded by Stahl to enter Closed Session at 10:38 p.m.  Approved 7-0

 

Motion by  McFadyen, seconded by  Ahearn to adjourn Closed Session at 11:40 p.m.  Approved 7-0

 

Motion by Walby, seconded by McFadyen to proceed as directed by the City Attorney regarding R. Semen v St. Clair Shores.  Approved 7-0

 

Motion by Ahearn, seconded by McFadyen to adjourn the meeting at 11:41 p.m.  Approved 7-0
