Responsibilities City+SCSTV Logos

Duties include establishing policies and recommending procedures to the Mayor and City Council on the strategic use of the communication vehicles employed by the City to disseminate information, promoting an understanding of the functions of City government, as well as fostering and maintaining a favorable image of the City to the public it serves. This includes, but is not limited to:

  •  Annual Financial Report 
  •  Public and Media Relations 
  •  The Annual City Calendar 
  •  Programming for SCSTV, the City’s local government access cable station
  •  Inside St. Clair Shores, the City newsletter 
  •   The City website at
  •  All Social Media including the City of St. Clair Shores Facebook Page, Instagram and Twitter 
  •  Special Marketing Campaigns/Projects

Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month in January through May and in September through December. No meetings are scheduled in June through August. Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. in the Geer Conference Room in City Hall.
