Tree Trimming in the Right of Way
The City of St. Clair Shores employs an outside company to go through the city to trim trees that are planted in the right of way (city property next to the street).
Trimming typically begins in the spring and continues through the fall of each year. However, there are certain species of trees that can only be trimmed in the winter months.
If you feel that a tree in the right of way needs to be trimmed, please contact the Forestry Division 586-445-5363 for inspection by the city arborist(s).
