TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS IN THE CITY OF ST. CLAIR SHORES:

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City Council of the City of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, will hold a public hearing on Monday, the 6th day of February 2023, at 7 p.m., prevailing Eastern Time in the City Hall, located at 27600 Jefferson Avenue, in the City of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, to consider the adoption of an ordinance approving the Development Plan and Tax Increment Financing Plan for the St. Clair Shores Downtown Development Authority pursuant to Part 2 of Act 57 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 2018, as amended.

The boundaries of the development area to which the Plan applies is identified in the City’s Master Plan as Investment Area #2 – Nine-Mack Downtown. In general, the Development Area includes the frontage along Greater Mack and Nine Mile Roads and is bounded on the west by Pare Street, on the east by Defer Street, south by Cavalier and 9-Mack Drive, and north by the Pet Supplies Plus store.

Copies of the proposed Development Plan and Tax Increment Financing Plan, maps, plats, etc., are on file at the office of the City Clerk for inspection.

At the public hearing, all interested persons desiring to address the City Council shall be allowed to be heard regarding the approval of the Development Plan and Tax Increment Financing Plan for the St. Clair Shores Downtown Development Authority and all aspects of the Plan will be open for discussion at the public hearing.
