[ARCHIVED] Share your history

An old sepia picture of a woman selling hot dogs on the beach

The Digital Archives, part of the Suburban Library Cooperative, hosts almost 5,000 images from St. Clair Shores’ history. You can explore those images at
https://sbrb-montage.auto-graphics.com.

The SCS Public Library and Historical Commission are always looking for more images of St. Clair Shores. Whether you’ve lived in your house for decades with plenty of “then and now” pictures, photos of older places that are no longer here, or older shots of businesses or sites that are still here, the library and commission would love to see them.

You can either loan or donate the images to the archive.

Contact the Local History Librarian to learn more by calling 586-771-9020 or via email at scsadult@libcoop.net.

Want to get even more involved with city history? The Historical Commission has several vacancies to fill. Find out more about committees and commissions at www.scsmi.net/boards-commissions.
